The Street Harpist

Harpist, storyteller and aspiring bard

About

Fermanagh born and Clare raised, Conni Dawson is a self-taught harpist and traditional Irish musician and storyteller.

Growing up in a musical household she has been playing Irish music since she was old enough to hold a whistle. She took up the harp in 2011 and has never looked back.

She has played all over Ireland, touring the country with her littlest harp in her tour Around Ireland in 80 Tunes. She has also played support for the famous folk duo of Martin and Eliza Carthy at the Greenhill Shed Sessions.

In her Storylines tour series she bring stories back to their landscape of origin to help people reconnect with the rich heritage and history around them.
